About the Partnership
Ohr Hachinuch’s revolutionary approach to the Parent-School Partnership is a core feature of our yeshiva. It is a collaborative relationship, emphasizing Open communication, Shared Responsibility, and Mutual Respect. We recognize that the success of each student is intricately linked to the active involvement of their parents in his educational journey. Through open communication channels and regular updates, we ensure that parents are informed, engaged, and aligned with our educational mission.
On an individual level, our Rebbeim and Morahs call each and every parent once a month to check in and see how your child is doing both in school and out. This is meant to forge a strong relationship with our parents and help each other figure out the best path to success. We understand that a child is the sum of many parts, and the better our team understands your child and the environments that he thrives in, the easier it will be for them to fine tune their teaching methods and ensure your child is thriving all day and every day.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
- Besides our School partnership building, we also have our Parent Teacher Association PTA, headed by Mrs. Shira Fishman. The PTA was established to help facilitate connection between the teachers and parents as well as the vital connection and camaraderie amongst
fellow parents. Having a strong, cohesive parents body who feels invested in the yeshiva allows the best possible outcomes for our students. - Events for Mothers, whats app groups for connecting, collecting for faculty simchas as well as individual classroom event planning and coordinating are all under the auspices of the PTA. In addition to Mrs. Fishman, each classroom has a “Classroom Mother” who helps facilitate communication and planning within each grade.
